Campground Rules
We’re so glad you’re here. Here are a few camp rules to help keep camp safe, clean and enjoyable for everyone.

Arrival & Departure
- Check-in: 2:00 p.m.
- Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
- After-hours arrival: Please let us know if you plan to arrive after 7:00 p.m. so we can prepare for you.
Cancellation Policy
- Any cancellations must be made by phone. All cancellations will result in a $35 cancellation fee.
- Cancellations 30+ days prior to the day of your arrival will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made between 14-29 days before your scheduled arrival date will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations within 14 days of your arrival will not receive a refund.
Quiet Hours
- 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Let’s keep it peaceful for fellow campers.
Campsite Guidelines
- One RV and one vehicle per site.
- Tents are not permitted on RV sites. Tents are allowed in designated tent sites only.
- Slide-outs may not extend past your site’s electrical box.
- Generators are not permitted.
Waste & Dumping
- Please bag all trash and place it in designated dumpsters.
- Complimentary trash pickup is at 8:00 a.m. daily. Leave tied bags at your site number post for pickup.
- Do not leave trash out overnight.
- Grey and black water must be emptied at the designated dump station unless you are at a full hook-up site.
Bath House
- Restrooms and showers are for registered guests only.
Pets
Pets are welcome at Camp Buffalo! Here are a few ground rules:
Maximum of two dogs per site. Pit Bull breeds are not permitted.
Pets are not allowed inside campground buildings or facilities.
Pets are not allowed in assembled tents.
Dogs are allowed in cabins with a $25 per pet fee and guests are responsible for any damages.
Keep pets on a leash at all times unless inside the dog park or fenced pet sites.
Please clean up after your pet. Waste bags are available at the dog park.
Electric Vehicles
- We do not have EV chargers and do not allow EV charging at campsite hookups.
Fire Safety
- Outside firewood is not permitted per Forest Service regulations.
- Fires are permitted in designated fire pits only and should never be left unattended.
- We will communicate burn bans and suspend fires during those times. You can also check for Searcy County on this map.
General
- The speed limit throughout camp is 8 mph — please watch carefully for children and pets.
- Please leave your site ready for the next camper. We proudly follow Leave No Trace principles.
- Camp Buffalo is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen property.
- Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside all facilities, including cabins, the bathhouse, restrooms and the camp office.
